Conducting Serious Incident Investigations

Conducting Serious Incident Investigations is proudly presented to you by CEQ Alabama Department of Mental Health. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.

****Please note: Each individual person attending must have their own user account in this system to register for the class. This online account is where attendance is verified and the individual can print a certificate at the conclusion of the course.  Do not do group enrollments under one name as this will prohibit the individual receiving their certificate of completion. IF YOU NEED TO  REGISTER MORE THAN ONE PERSON: log in as the first user (creating an individual account), enroll and pay any registration fees, log out of the user account once the registration is complete. Repeat the process for any additional participants by creating separate user accounts for each participant. You may also purchase "tokens" to distribute to employees via email to register themselves.

This is an interactive course covering procedures for conducting investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or rights violations.  It is appropriate course material for clinical staff who conduct incident investigations for ADMH facilities or community mental health programs certified by ADMH. The information presented in this course is presented using both lecture and interactive exercises.

***Once you have registered, click 'MY COURSES' in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.  Select the course by clicking 'ENTER COURSE' to view or print information prior to the date of your course. You will return here at the conclusion of your course to print a certificate.
