MATT= Medication Assistant Train the Trainer
To become a MATT nurse you must be a licensed in Alabama nurse in good standing. You must have been a MAS nurse for a period of no less than 1 year. Have knowledge of training requirements. You must of completed at least two MAC II trainings. You must attend a two day MATT course and pass the cpmpetency exam with a score of 90 or above.
MATT Objectives
- Understand Alabama Law
- Be accountable for NDP guidelines
- Provide direct training to MAS candidates
- Continuous Resource to MAS nurses and community
- Educate and communicate.
- MATT quarterly meeting requirements
