ADMH Prospective Provider Orientation Training – Mental Health, Substance Use and Prevention (MHSU)

ADMH Prospective Provider Orientation Training – Mental Health, Substance Use and Prevention (MHSU) is proudly presented to you by CEQ Alabama Department of Mental Health. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.

Course Description:

This course will allow Prospective Providers to review materials for both phases at their own pace and download the certificate of completion from their Relias account. After the certificate is downloaded, it may be used to apply for certification.

This training contains two lessons.

Lesson 1 (Phase 1 Training)

Based on Alabama law, any community program providing services to people living with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders must be certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) to ensure services meet quality and safety requirements.

This lesson is the first of a two-phase orientation to help prospective providers understand the certification application process and determine whether they have the capacity to meet certification requirements. The second phase of this orientation is included in lesson 2.

Lesson 2 (Phase 2 Training for MHSU)
