Each individual attending must have their own user account in this system.  The email with the Zoom information will be sent to the email address associated with your Relias account. If the email address with your Relias account is not where you want the notifications to be sent, please update your Relias account information.

GROUP PARTICIPATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOT PERMITTED. ANYONE PARTICIPATING IN A GROUP WILL BE DISMISSED FROM ZOOM.

 

If you do not receive your Zoom link at least two business days prior to the start of the course, please email StaffDevelopment.DMH@mh.alabama.gov.  Please do not wait until the day of the class or after the class has started to inquire about the Zoom link. 

 

***Format***

The Annual MHSA Incident Management and Therap Training will use remote, instructor-led format with Zoom technology.  In order to successfully participate, each learner needs a computer/device allowing audio/video interaction.  Sign-in information for Zoom video conference will be sent to participants via email prior to the start date.

Incident Management Training for MH/SU Providers

Learning Objectives

By the end of the training, the participant should be able to:

  •  Identify the types of incidents that are reportable to ADMH
  • Identify if the incident location is a factor in reporting versus not reporting
  • Define Critical Incident and state the reporting time frame
  • Define Incident and state the reporting time frame
  • State the special requirements in reporting Abuse/Neglect allegations and Non-consensual Sexual Contact allegations to include:
    • Time frame for reporting
    • Investigation requirements
    • Time frame for completion of investigation
    • Components of a thorough and credible investigation
  • Know where to find incident definitions
