History of COVID? Impact on the Rehabilitation Plan of Care

This course provides physical and occupational therapy providers with considerations for the evaluation and treatment of patients who have a history of COVID-19. Learners will be able to recognize post-COVID conditions (Long COVID) and their potential impacts on clinical presentation. Case scenarios demonstrate how clinicians can modify their evaluation, goals, interventions, and frequency and duration of care to best meet the needs of their patients. Treatment considerations are discussed but in-depth treatment is presented in other courses.

The goal of this course is to teach occupational and physical therapy professionals about managing patients with post-COVID conditions in post-acute care settings.
