Mare Henderson, RHIA, MA, BS, AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer, has 25 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement, revenue cycle management, software EHR implementation, and coding including executive leadership and management consulting for multi-million-dollar projects for Deloitte Consulting, large healthcare systems, and software vendors. She has written numerous successful healthcare appeals for physicians, professional presentations for physicians, nurses, and allied health personnel, and professional abstracts, and provided extensive training to physician groups on the importance of valid clinical documentation. She is EMRAM Level 7 Certified through HIMSS and has served on several committees for HIMSS and AHIMA.
Subject Matter Expert: Ron Orth RN, CHC, CMAC
Ron Orth obtained a nursing degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1985 and a B. A. in Health Care Administration from Concordia University in 1996. Mr. Orth possesses over 30 years of nursing experience with over 20 of those in the Skilled Nursing industry. Mr. Orth has extensive experience in teaching Medicare regulations to healthcare providers both in the US and internationally. Mr. Orth is currently the Director of Curriculum Design for the Acute and Post-acute Care verticals at Relias. Ron has also successfully completed the Infection Control Officer training through the AHCA.
