NDP - MAS Update

NDP - MAS Update is proudly presented to you by CEQ Alabama Department of Mental Health. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.

****Please note: Each individual person attending must have their own user account in this system and register separately for the class.  There is no way to perform group registration at this time.  This allows individuals to be registered for the class in their own name, print any course materials prior to class, complete an evaluation and print a certificate of attendance at the conclusion of class.  IF YOU NEED TO  REGISTER MORE THAN ONE PERSON: log in as the first user (creating an individual account), enroll and pay any registration fees, log out of the user account once the registration is complete. Repeat the process for any additional participants by creating separate user accounts for each participant.

Key Session Points:

  • This lecture and group discussion program, utilizing a standard PowerPoint presentation is designed for the MAS Nurses (RN/LPNs) with a current MAS Certificate.
  • Every two (2) years, all currently certified MAS Nurses are required to attend an “UPDATE” prior to the expiration date noted on their current MAS Certificate (a Certificate of Attendance does not meet this requirement).
  • MAS Nurses who have allowed their MAS Certification to become delinquent ninety days past the expiration date noted on their certificate, must retake the initial training (Becoming A Certified Delegating Nurse), including the test.
  • If you do not provide your license number the day of class, you will have a maximum of five business days to provide this information to ADMH Staff Development in order to receive CE credit.  CE credits will be posted to ABN within ten business days of class.
  • Classes are limited to 25 participants unless otherwise stated.
